PRIME RELOADS — RETURN POLICY & TERMS OF SALE

1. Hazardous Materials & Ammunition Components (Powders & Primers)

  • Safety & Integrity Guarantee: Once hazardous components leave our climate-controlled warehouse, we cannot legally verify their storage conditions, handling history, or safety integrity. To guarantee that every customer receives 100% factory-fresh, untampered components, we cannot accept returns, exchanges, or refunds on any propellant or primer products.

  • Order Verification: Please carefully verify your caliber, powder burn rate, primer size, and quantity before placing your order.

2. Non-Hazmat Items (Brass, Tools & Accessories)

Unopened, non-hazardous physical items—such as unprimed brass, reloading dies, presses, and accessories—may be eligible for return under the following conditions:

  • Return Window: Eligible items must be returned within 30 days of delivery.

  • Condition: Items must be completely unused, unopened, in original factory packaging, and in resalable condition.

  • Return Shipping & Restocking:

    • The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a packing error on our part.

    • Returned non-hazmat items may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

    • Original shipping fees (including Hazmat fees) are non-refundable.

3. Damaged, Missing, or Defective Shipments

We inspect and pack every shipment to withstand transit, but if an issue occurs:

  • Notification Window: Claims for damaged goods, missing items, or shipping discrepancies must be submitted to Support within 5 business days of carrier delivery.

  • Required Documentation: To process a claim, please email support@primereloads.com with:

    1. Your Order Number and Tracking Code.

    2. Clear photos of the outer shipping box, shipping label, and damaged product.

  • Damaged Hazmat Shipments: If a propellant container or primer package is damaged in transit, do not attempt to use the product. Photos must show the damaged container clearly so we can initiate a carrier claim and issue a replacement or store credit.

4. Shipping & Delivery Terms

  • Adult Signature Required: Federal regulations require an adult signature upon delivery for all hazardous material shipments.

  • Hazmat Charges: Hazmat items require a flat-rate Hazmat shipping fee per box (up to 48 lbs total weight limit per package). Combining powders and primers into a single order helps minimize these fees.

  • Address Accuracy & Failed Deliveries: Customers are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address where an adult will be available to sign. If a package is returned to us due to multiple failed delivery attempts or an incorrect address:

    • Non-hazmat items will be refunded minus shipping/hazmat costs and restocking fees.

    • Hazmat items returned by carriers cannot be reshipped without a new shipping/hazmat fee paid by the customer.

5. Age & Compliance Verification

  • By placing an order with Prime Reloads, you certify that:

    1. You are at least 21 years of age (or the legal age required by your state/local jurisdiction).

    2. You are legally permitted to purchase, receive, and possess reloading components under federal, state, and local laws.

    3. You are complying with all local ordinances regarding component quantities and storage limits.
